Fruselva<\/strong><\/a> consolidates its presence in Latin America<\/strong> with the expansion of its Megafactory in Colombia and the expansion of its factory in Chile<\/strong>, key projects that make the company a benchmark in baby food.<\/p>\n

In the Colombia plant, the works began last January 28 with the signing of the construction contract, and are scheduled to be completed on March 27, 2025. The official announcement of the expansion was made at a ceremony held on January 28 in the office of the Governor of the Governor’s Office of the Atl\u00e1ntico, Eduardo Verano, reaffirming Fruselva’s commitment to the economic and industrial development of the region<\/strong>. This expansion will increase the plant’s logistic capacity, optimizing the manufacturing processes and responding to the growing demand of the Latin American market.<\/p>\n

Fruselva inaugurated its Megafactory in Colombia on July 19, 2023, after a year of intense construction that ended on September 28, 2023. Now, with this expansion, the company reinforces its commitment to the Colombian and international market, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the production of healthy baby food. This project represents an improvement in the plant’s infrastructure and technology, facilitating greater efficiency in production and guaranteeing the quality and safety of its products.<\/p>\n

Javier Hern\u00e1ndez, CEO of Fruselva<\/a><\/strong>, states that \u201cthe expansion of our Megafactory in Colombia is a sign of our commitment to international expansion and sustainable industrial development<\/strong> in Latin America. This project will allow us to improve our production capacity, innovation and process efficiency, ensuring that we continue to offer high quality products to our customers\u201d.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The new allergen production plant in Chile\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Fruselva’s new allergen feed production plant in Chile<\/strong> is now a reality after an investment of $2.45 million and thirteen months of construction work that began in December 2023.<\/p>\n

This factory is located within Fruselva’s new industrial complex in Talca (Chile), which employs more than 500 people and will be dedicated exclusively to the production of food with allergens in pouch format. The allergen factory occupies around 2,000 m2 of the new industrial complex that Fruselva has been operating since November 2024 and has accounted for 11.6% of the total budget.<\/p>\n

With this construction and the installation of two new complete allergen production lines, Fruselva adds 60 million units to the more than 350 million units of current capacity of its Andean factory for domestic distribution in Chile, neighboring markets and for export to Central America, the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n

In the words of Javier Hern\u00e1ndez, this is a \u201cstrategic project for the company that will allow us to offer products for the introduction of allergens to the diet and also in a safe way to our customers<\/strong> with a specialized factory, avoiding risks of cross-contamination, being the first co-manufacturer of baby food to offer this solution.\u00a0 With this commitment, Fruselva will continue to differentiate itself in the market and offer solutions in which innovation, sustainability and food safety are the main axes\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
