This Friday, February 28, Fruselva, one of the Masergrup companies, participated in the ‘Challenges of Sustainability’ conference, organized by the Diari de Tarragona in the Tabaris building in Coma-ruga. Víctor Rubio, head of Strategy and Innovation at Fruselva, was one of the participants in the first round table, in which the role of B Corp companies in the transition towards a more sustainable and responsible economic model was discussed. Rubio shared a table with Vanessa Rodríguez, Head of Sustainability at PortAventura World.
During the conversation, the current needs were highlighted to achieve business growth that integrates environmental protection and the reduction of emissions Fruselva, as one of the five B Corp. companies in the province of Tarragona, is positioned as a reference in this transformation towards sustainability.
In November 2024, Fruselva achieved B Corp certification in several countries: including Spain, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, USA and Canada. This certification recognizes companies that meet the highest social and environmental standards, in addition to demonstrating a high level of transparency and legal responsibility.
In this context, the Diari de Tarragona has published a special report dedicated to sustainability, in which Fruselva has had a prominent role in the section on B Corp companies. Javier Hernández, CEO of Fruselva, states in his article that “Becoming a B Corp company has been a fundamental step to consolidate our commitment to a business model that generates a positive impact.” Our goal is not only to grow as a company, but to do so responsibly, creating value for society and the environment.
