MaserGrup has been awarded the 2025 City of Reus Environmental Award in the business category for the project “Tecnol: Driving Sustainable Cities”, an initiative focused on innovation and sustainability applied to public spaces.
The award, granted by the Reus City Council, recognises this project as a benchmark within the municipality in the field of ecological transition. A total of five business projects competed in this category.
The Tecnol project is based on the development of a new range of urban furniture made from recycled materials, as well as the implementation of new energy-efficient lighting systems that reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint. All of this aims to create more comfortable, healthy and environmentally respectful urban spaces for citizens.
This initiative positions MaserGrup as a strategic partner for cities and municipalities, supporting them in key challenges such as sustainability, urban improvement and the creation of more functional and people-friendly public spaces.
The City of Reus Environmental Awards, promoted by the Department of Environment, Sustainability and Public Space, have recognised innovative projects related to environmental protection, biodiversity and sustainability since 2021, helping to give visibility to initiatives that contribute to a more responsible future.
This recognition reinforces MaserGrup’s commitment to sustainable innovation and encourages the company to continue developing value-added solutions for the cities of today and tomorrow.
