May 26, 2022 | Fruselva-en, News

During the week of May 16th to 21st, Fruselva attended three major fairs in the food sector between Spain, Brazil and Mexico to discuss innovation and market trends with our partners and new contacts.

First of all, we highlight our presence at theFood 4 Future – Expo Foodtech fair held in Bilbao from May 17th to 19th. This is the reference event in the field of functional ingredients as the future of food where the main food tech Startups and Technology Centers present the latest market trends and the ingredients that help improve the food we consume.

At the fair, apart from the presentation of the latest product innovations, innovations in production processes, digitalization, robotization and 4.0 transformation were also discussed. For Fruselva, it has been a pleasure to be part of the revolution that the sector is undergoing and to meet new partners interested in accompanying us in the development of new projects. Challenges are included in the #SDGs of the #2030Agenda of the United Nations and how important it is for our company.

In addition, we had the honour of being invited to share our experiences and talk about our processes at the Startup Forum in a round table about ‘The role of biotechnology in generating the ingredients of the future’. An act that opened the doors for us to discuss and exchange knowledge with other leading companies in the sector.

At the same time, we also attended at Expo Antad (Mexico) and Feira Apas (Brazil). At both events we had the opportunity to explain to visitors the new products we are working on in the infant food category, such as yogurts, jellies, cereals, proteins and gluten-free products. It was an opportunity to present the benefits of the fastest growing format in the world, the pouch, where we have been working for 14 years. Our team also attended some of the talks and conferences that were organized on topics related to innovation in food.
