The historic vermouth brand Perucchi 1876 becomes part of the MaserGrup portfolio through its affiliate company Vermuts Miró, reinforcing the group’s commitment to excellence, tradition, and innovation in the food and beverage industry.
With this operation, MaserGrup—a business group headquartered in Reus and led by entrepreneur Xavier Martinez—advances its growth and diversification strategy, aiming to become a benchmark in high-value-added markets such as premium vermouth. Vermuts Miró, founded in 1914 and part of the group, thus becomes the new owner of Perucchi 1876, considered the oldest vermouth brand in Spain.

Perucchi will retain its three current business units: the production and marketing of vermouth and liqueurs; the wine, cava, and vermouth distributor DVVD Barcelona, focused on the HORECA channel in the metropolitan area; and the specialized store VINS&CO, located on Aribau Street in Barcelona. All three units will remain active and be strengthened, while also preserving the entire workforce, their working conditions, and seniority, as they are integrated into the new ownership.
According to data from international consultancy IWSR, Perucchi currently ranks fourth in volume within the premium vermouth segment in Spain. Its iconic product, Perucchi Gran Reserva, continues to be crafted using the original 1876 recipe, made with over 50 natural botanicals and traditionally aged in century-old oak vats. The brand’s portfolio also includes other high-end products such as Perucchi Spritz and Italian-inspired liqueurs.
With this integration, MaserGrup expects to generate industrial and commercial synergies that will drive double-digit annual growth in the coming years within the food and beverage sector. The group’s leadership in production and exports will be further strengthened, with Perucchi already present in over 10 countries—its main international market being the United States.
