At MaserGrup, we have always been committed to projects that highlight the value of our territory, culture, and the identity of our city. That’s why, as part of the Misericòrdia Festivities 2025, we wanted to bring together two of Reus’ greatest passions: tradition and sport.
Promoted by Vermut Miró, a brand that belongs to our group, the meeting with coaches Marc Carrasco (Reus FC Reddis) and Adri Calderón (women’s team of the Futbol Base Reus Foundation) became much more than a toast: it was a shared celebration of the values that connect football with the city’s main festival —passion, effort, and enthusiasm.
Carrasco, leading a team that this year competes in Segunda RFEF, highlighted the commitment of his players, many of them born and trained in the region. For him, the Misericòrdia Festivities strengthen this sense of belonging, even among players from outside who discover and embrace the unique identity of Reus.
Meanwhile, Calderón expressed pride in the women’s team’s achievements after their promotion to Tercera RFEF. The challenge now is to consolidate their position in such a demanding division, with the same ambition and determination that define women’s football in Reus.
The joint toast symbolized this shared spirit: experiencing the Misericòrdia Festivities as an opportunity to strengthen bonds, acknowledge hard work, and look confidently toward the future.
At MaserGrup, we celebrate the progress of Reus’ football —both male and female— rooted in pride and community. Just like Reus vermouth, our traditions and our teams play an essential role in projecting the city to the world.
