MaserGrup reaffirms its commitment to the territory and culture by participating in an initiative that combines art, heritage, and innovation. Through our brand Miró Vermouth, we are part of the project for a new mural dedicated to Antoni Gaudí, which will be created in the city of Reus as part of the Gaudí Year.
The mural will be located at Josep Sardà i Cailà Street, 9, and is conceived as a contemporary artistic proposal that, beyond its visual dimension, will include interactive digital content to explore the architect’s legacy. This initiative highlights the territory’s ability to generate innovative projects that connect culture, technology, and public space.
The project has been promoted by the Reus Gaudí Friends Association, with the support of the Reus City Council and the Tarragona Provincial Council, and includes the participation of various public and private partners. In this context, MaserGrup’s involvement through Miró Vermouth reflects the group’s commitment to actively contributing to initiatives that strengthen cultural identity and promote the region.
The artistic work will be created by artist Jonatan Carranza, known as Sojo, selected from among 25 candidates. With a career linked to graffiti and muralism, Carranza is recognized for his ability to transform urban spaces through high-impact visual proposals, combining aerosol techniques and drawing.
The mural will measure 21 meters wide by 6.5 meters high and will be developed in two phases. The first phase, scheduled for May, will consist of the artistic execution of the mural. Later, in October, a QR code will be added, allowing access to digital content with 2D and 3D animations created by artist Gala Mirissa, offering an immersive and interactive experience about Gaudí’s life and work.
The initiative also has the collaboration of the Parish of Sant Joan Baptista and the Archbishopric of Tarragona, which will provide the façade of the parish rectory where the mural will be located. In addition, several private companies, such as Volvo, Repsol, and Escardó Serveis, have joined the project, highlighting the importance of public-private collaboration in developing cultural initiatives.
For MaserGrup, participating in this project means continuing to promote actions that strengthen the connection between business, culture, and territory. Through Miró Vermouth, the group contributes to the promotion of heritage and contemporary creativity while reinforcing its connection with the city of Reus and its cultural legacy.
With this collaboration, MaserGrup strengthens its role as an active agent in the cultural development of the territory, supporting projects that combine tradition and innovation and that project local identity into the future.
