At MaserGrup, we continue to support initiatives that promote culture, heritage, and territorial identity, connecting business and society. In this context, on April 7, we held the public presentation of the book “Vermuts Miró i la història del vermut a Reus” by historian Isabel Martínez at Casa Navàs.
Following an earlier presentation for the media, this event aimed to bring the work closer to the public, especially at the approach of Sant Jordi. Public attendance exceeded expectations, completely filling the main hall of Casa Navàs.
The high turnout required dozens of attendees to follow the event from adjacent spaces, where a screen was set up to ensure that no one missed any detail. In this context, MaserGrup’s president, Xavier Martínez, commented in a friendly and relaxed tone: “On the other side, don’t worry; maybe they don’t have a chair, but they have vermouth and TV,” reflecting the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the day.
The book provides a detailed analysis of the origins of Miró Vermouth, covering key questions such as the beginnings of the business, its development, and its consolidation in Reus. It highlights vermouth’s importance as an identity and cultural element, as well as the role of local companies in shaping this heritage.
Hosting the event at Casa Navàs reinforces the significance of this space, owned by MaserGrup, as a reference venue for cultural and educational activities. The combination of architectural heritage and cultural content creates valuable experiences for citizens and positions Reus as a cultural hub.
The day concluded with a tasting of Miró Vermouth products in a relaxed environment, complemented by music and networking spaces that encouraged attendees to share impressions. This final moment strengthened the connection between brand, territory, and the public, extending beyond the literary presentation itself.
Through initiatives like this, MaserGrup reaffirms its commitment to cultural promotion, heritage preservation, and the support of its brands as active contributors to the social and economic fabric of the region.
