On May 27 and 28, MaserGrup participated in Expo FoodTech – Food 4 Future 2026, one of the leading international events for the food industry, held in Bilbao. Every year, the exhibition brings together companies, professionals, technology centers, and experts from around the world to discover the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of food.

Recognized as the leading food industry trade show for exploring advances in automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, digitalization, and emerging technologies, Expo FoodTech has become an essential meeting point for driving competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation across the sector.

During the two-day event, MaserGrup actively participated in the various activities, conferences, and networking opportunities organized throughout the exhibition, sharing experiences, knowledge, and projects with companies and professionals from across the food value chain.

One of the highlights of our participation was the MaserGrup VIP Lounge, a dedicated meeting space designed to welcome clients, partners, professionals, and visitors interested in learning more about the activities and projects developed by our business group.

The lounge also featured several companies that are part of MaserGrup, including Costa Bebidas, Fruselva, and Miró Vermouth. Visitors had the opportunity to taste a selection of products from our brands while exchanging ideas, building new professional relationships, and exploring future collaboration opportunities.

Recognition for Fruselva at the FoodTech Innovation Awards 2026

This edition of Expo FoodTech also brought important recognition for the group. Fruselva achieved second place in the AWARD HEALTHY FOOD category at the FoodTech Innovation Awards 2026 thanks to its IMMUNEKIDS project.

This innovative range of functional food products was developed for children during the complementary feeding and weaning stage, with the goal of supporting and strengthening the immune system. The project covered everything from defining technical requirements to developing safe, stable, and industrially viable prototypes.

The IMMUNEKIDS range incorporates postbiotics and parabiotics derived from probiotic strains selected for their strong scientific evidence and anti-inflammatory properties, representing a significant advancement in the field of functional nutrition for children.

This recognition highlights the efforts of Fruselva’s teams in research, development, and innovation, as well as their ability to transform scientific knowledge into real market solutions.
